A common example of an escape room puzzle is a combination lock challenge. You might find a locked box with a 4-digit code, and clues hidden around the room. Like numbers that are part of a postal code, an important date, or symbols and letters that can be converted to numbers. You’ll need to connect these clues logically to figure out the correct code, open the lock, and access the next part of the game. Other examples include logic puzzles, pattern recognition, word riddles, or hidden compartments activated by solving a sequence or acting together in a specific way.
